Pre-authentication code execution via unsafe deserialization
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Insecure deserialization in Trend Micro Apex Central before 8.0.7007 allows remote attackers to execute code without authentication. The GetReportDetailView method accepts user-supplied data without proper validation and deserializes it as trusted content. Successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code as NETWORK SERVICE on the Windows management server.
