CVE-2025-49218

Privilege escalation via unvalidated ProcessWhereClause input

Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

SQL injection in Trend Micro Endpoint Encryption PolicyServer before 6.0.0.4013 allows attackers to escalate privileges via crafted input. The ProcessWhereClause method uses a user-supplied string to construct SQL queries without adequate validation. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution on the target system and grants access to resources otherwise protected from that user.
