Unauthenticated username enumeration via distinct login errors
Published Jun 12, 2025 · Updated Jun 12, 2025
Observable response discrepancy in SICK Field Analytics all versions allows remote attackers to enumerate valid usernames during login. The login handler returns one error for an incorrect password and a different error for a nonexistent username. No authentication or user interaction is required; repeated failed requests reveal which candidate accounts exist but do not expose passwords.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
