CVE-2025-49182Network attack vector

Administrative access via hard-coded source credentials

Published Jun 12, 2025 · Updated Jun 16, 2025

Credential disclosure in SICK Media Server before 1.5 allows remote attackers to obtain administrative application access. Application source files embed the administrative login credentials and property-configuration password instead of keeping them secret. No authentication or user interaction is required; the vendor assessment limits confirmed impact to disclosure despite describing full application access.
