Persistent system access via non-expiring JWTs
Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jul 17, 2025
Insufficient session expiration in MICROSENS NMP Web+ 3.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to retain system access through stale JWTs. The server issues JSON Web Tokens without an expiration, so an obtained token remains accepted beyond its intended session lifetime. Possession of a valid token enables continued authenticated access and integrity-impacting actions in NMP Web+.
