CVE-2025-49136Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Host secret disclosure via enabled Sprig functions

Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025

Template injection in listmonk 4.0.0 through 5.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to read host environment variables. The campaign and generic template function maps copy Sprig defaults without removing env or expandenv, so user-controlled expressions invoke them. Multi-user deployments are exposed when a non-super-admin account has campaign or template permissions, and disclosed values can include database, SMTP, cloud, or administrator credentials.
