Authenticated stored XSS via unescaped locale values
Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 9, 2025
Stored XSS in Laravel Translation Manager before 0.6.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser. The web interface stores attacker-controlled group or locale names and renders them into option values, CSS classes, attributes, headings, and confirmation text without HTML escaping. Access to the authenticated translation manager is required, and a second user must view affected interface content, exposing that user's browser-session data.
