Session takeover via unencoded Swagger UI query
Published Jun 23, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Reflected XSS in Visionatrix 1.5.0 through 2.5.0 allows remote attackers to take over user sessions through a crafted documentation link. The /docs/flows handler appends the user-controlled flows query to openapi_url and passes it unencoded into FastAPI's get_swagger_ui_html, placing it inside a script string. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link and lets injected JavaScript read application secrets through the victim's session.
