CVE-2025-49113Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unvalidated upload parameter

Published Jun 2, 2025 · Updated Feb 21, 2026

PHP object deserialization in Roundcube Webmail before 1.5.10 and 1.6.0 through 1.6.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The settings upload action passes an unvalidated _from-derived value toward session handling, allowing crafted serialized data to reach PHP deserialization. A valid Roundcube account and access to the settings upload endpoint are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code in the web server context.
