Arbitrary file read via unchecked download path
Published Sep 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 15, 2025
Path traversal in MoneyPrinterTurbo 1.2.6 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through crafted download API paths. The download_video handler passes file_path directly to os.path.join with the task directory, then serves the result through FileResponse without containment validation. The API router has no authentication dependency, so network access to the API is enough to retrieve readable files outside the task directory, including sensitive host files.
