Restricted settings disclosure via permission enforcement bypass
Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 31, 2025
Authorization bypass in Absolute Secure Access before 13.56 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted management-console settings. The management console retrieves settings outside an administrator's assigned permission set without enforcing the corresponding access restriction. Exploitation requires administrative console access and a particular permission assignment; the bounded impact is disclosure of otherwise restricted settings.
