Reflected script execution via unescaped request input
Published Aug 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Duoshuo for WordPress 1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted request. The public advisory says that input is insufficiently sanitized and output-escaped, but it does not identify the affected parameter, request route, or code locus. Exploitation requires a victim to follow an attacker-crafted link, and the script runs in that victim's browser under the vulnerable site's origin.
