CVE-2025-49032Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized block content

Published Jul 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored XSS in PublishPress Blocks 3.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through crafted block content. The plugin inadequately sanitizes contributor-supplied block content and fails to escape it when rendering a stored page, although the affected block or function is undisclosed. Contributor-level access is required, and execution occurs when another user visits the injected page, enabling browser-context actions and page alteration.
