Unauthenticated device information disclosure via version endpoint
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Information disclosure in D-Link DI-7003GV2 24.04.18D1 R(68125) allows remote attackers to read device details without authentication. The sub_48F4F0 handler returns JSON from /H5/versionupdate.data containing the model, firmware version, and serial number without enforcing access control. Network access to the management interface is sufficient; the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of device-identifying and firmware data.
