Administrator script execution via unsanitized group parameter
Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in Revive Adserver 5.5.2 and 6.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted URL. The account-preferences-plugin.php script writes the group query parameter into HTML, JavaScript, or CSS output without proper sanitization. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit the crafted URL, after which the payload executes in that administrator's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
