CVE-2025-48983Network attack vector

Authenticated remote code execution on backup hosts

Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025

Remote code execution in the Mount service of Veeam Backup & Replication 12.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to run code on backup hosts. Veeam identifies the Mount service as the affected locus but has not disclosed the request path or unsafe operation that permits code execution. Exposure requires an authenticated domain user and a domain-joined backup infrastructure server; successful exploitation compromises that host.
