Missing transport encryption in CGM MEDICO before 29.01.02.01 allows attackers on the intranet to read and alter DNET traffic. Classic application-server connections on TCP port 5102 carry Visual Basic scripts, PDFs, and other client data in cleartext by default. Man-in-the-middle attackers on the local network can replace transmitted scripts with code that executes on client computers, exposing patient data and other host information.
