CVE-2025-48978

Unauthenticated command execution from adjacent networks

Published Aug 21, 2025 · Updated Aug 21, 2025

Command injection in Ubiquiti EdgeMAX EdgeSwitch 1.11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to execute commands. Ubiquiti identifies improper input validation but has not published the affected interface, input field, or command-building operation. The attack requires adjacent-network reachability, no authentication, and high-complexity conditions; successful exploitation executes commands affecting switch data and availability.
