Stored script execution via unsanitized data attributes
Published Jun 26, 2025 · Updated Jun 26, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Drupal GLightbox before 1.0.16 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted content. The module passes user-supplied text into GLightbox data-* attributes without sufficient filtering, allowing attacker-controlled markup to reach the browser. Exploitation requires a role permitted to edit content configured for GLightbox and affects viewers who open the resulting lightbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
