Authenticated SQL injection via CUtils.checkSQLInjection
Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Jul 11, 2025
SQL injection in CUtils.checkSQLInjection() in Advantech iView before 5.7.05 build 7057 allows remote authenticated users to read data. The function fails to neutralize SQL syntax in attacker-controlled input before it reaches a database query. User-level access is required; exploitation can disclose stored information or interrupt the service through a denial-of-service condition.
