Buffer overflow in code-projects Tourism Management System 1.0 allows local users to crash the application through registration input. The AddUser function passes username and password text to scanf conversions without field-width limits, allowing writes past fixed-size fields. Low-privilege local access to the interactive sign-up flow is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates an access-violation crash.
