Unauthorized database access via unsanitized email parameter
Published May 18, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
SQL injection in CampCodes Online Shopping Portal 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database through the forgot-password email field. The forgot-password.php handler places the POST email value directly into a SQL query without sanitization or validation, allowing crafted SQL and time-delay functions to change query execution. No authentication is required; the demonstrated payload enumerates databases, while further reading or modification depends on the database account's privileges.
