Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized pagetitle
Published May 18, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul News Portal Project 4.1 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data via pagetitle. The /admin/contactus.php handler places the POST pagetitle value directly into a MySQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. No authentication is required, and the published proof of concept uses a SLEEP expression to confirm query control; database permissions bound the reachable data and operations.
