Database credential disclosure via cleartext process arguments

Cleartext credential exposure in BMC Control-M/Server 9.0.21.300 allows local users to obtain database credentials from process data. Activated database utilities pass the database username, password, host, and port as visible command arguments and record them in monitoring logs. Shell access and an active database connection are required; the exposed credentials permit login to the configured database server.
