Race condition in Android Framework 13 through 16 allows local users to elevate privileges through lockscreen-linked context-menu apps. Multiple Framework code paths fail to synchronize access to apps linked from a lockscreen app's context menu, allowing protected state to change during use. A low-privileged local foothold and successful race timing are required, but user interaction is not; exploitation grants higher device privileges.
