Guest-memory disclosure via cross-guest access-control failure
Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026
Access-control granularity in AMD EPYC SEV firmware allows local administrators to expose SNP guest memory via a crafted SEV-ES guest. The firmware does not enforce sufficient separation between SEV-ES and SEV-SNP guest contexts, so an attacker-controlled SEV-ES guest can target an SNP guest. Exploitation requires local administrative control of the virtualization host with SEV-SNP enabled; the documented consequence is guest-memory disclosure, not modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
