Code execution via unverified installer package replacement
Published Aug 13, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Missing integrity validation in F5 BIG-IP APM and Edge Client allows local users to replace the macOS VPN web client installer. The browser-delivered installer accepts a locally substituted package without checking its integrity before installation; Edge Client 7.2.4 before 7.2.5.3 is affected. Exploitation requires authenticated local file-system access and user interaction, enabling attacker-controlled code to run with the installer's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
