Incorrect authorization in FreeScout before 1.8.180 allows remote authenticated users to access restricted conversation metadata. ConversationPolicy::update authorizes any mailbox member without applying the show_only_assigned_conversations restriction. Exploitation requires an authenticated mailbox member restricted to assigned conversations; the advisory reports limited metadata exposure but no message access.
