Administrator access via unauthenticated firmware replacement

Missing authentication in Advantech WISE firmware A2.01 B00 allows remote attackers to install modified firmware over the local network. A GET request to /__dnldpage sets allow_unauth_firmware_upgrade, causing /file_xfer to accept a firmware POST without successful basic authentication; only a reproducible checksum, not a cryptographic signature, guards the image. Network access to an affected WISE-4000LAN device with Security Mode disabled is sufficient to replace its firmware and obtain persistent administrator access.
