Cleartext transmission in Advantech WISE firmware A2.01 B00 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept web sessions over HTTP. The embedded web interface transmits session data over unencrypted HTTP instead of a confidentiality-protected transport. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and exposes captured sessions to hijacking, unauthorized access, or data tampering.
