CVE-2025-48431Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Remote server crash via mismatched memory release

Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

Denial of service in Apache Thrift c_glib before 0.23.0 allows remote attackers to crash an RPC server with crafted requests. The c_glib request-processing path releases request-derived memory with an incompatible deallocation routine, causing glibc to abort on an invalid pointer. A network-reachable server built with the c_glib binding is required; the documented consequence is a fatal process crash, not data access or modification.
