Arbitrary command execution via crafted USB configuration

Backdoor functionality in eCharge Hardy Barth cPH2 and cPP2 firmware 2.2.0 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to execute OS commands. The device parses commands from a specially crafted salia.ini file on an attached USB drive and exposes configuration export, modification, SSH enablement, and arbitrary command execution. Physical access to a USB port is required, after which the attacker can alter device configuration or obtain operating-system control.
