Privilege escalation via forged privileged-user requests
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Danny Vink User Profile Meta Manager 1.02 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain elevated privileges. Patchstack has not published the affected handler, request parameters, missing validation operation, or exact privileged action performed by a forged request. Exploitation requires a higher-privileged WordPress user to submit an attacker-controlled request, and the bounded reported consequence is privilege escalation.
