Database disclosure via unescaped SQL parameter
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in YayCommerce YayExtra 1.5.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read database data. Published records do not name the parameter, endpoint, or function, but report that the plugin fails to escape an administrator-controlled parameter and fails to prepare the SQL query before concatenating additional SQL syntax. Administrator-level WordPress access is required; the supported consequence is sensitive database disclosure, with no reported ability to modify data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
