Contributor-level stored XSS via undisclosed page input
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in HashThemes Easy Elementor Addons 2.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into WordPress pages. The published advisory does not identify the affected Elementor widget, input field, or output operation; it attributes the flaw only to inadequate neutralization during page generation. Contributor-level access is required to store a payload, and execution requires another user to view the affected page, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled script behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
