Contributor-level script execution via undisclosed DOM handling
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
DOM-based XSS in SKT Blocks 2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers via affected Gutenberg blocks. The upstream changelog identifies the Post Grid, Post Carousel, and Post Timeline blocks, but public sources do not disclose the DOM source, sink, or faulty input-handling operation. Exploitation requires Contributor access and a site visitor to render affected content, enabling script execution in the visitor's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
