Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked submit-url copy
Published May 17, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A702R, A3002R, and A3002RU 3.0.0-B20230809.1615 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory. The /boafrm/formWirelessTbl handler copies an oversized submit-url POST parameter into a destination buffer without checking its size. Access to the authenticated web interface is required; public sources do not establish whether the proof of concept achieves code execution or only a crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
