Settings changes via unchecked province-links form
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Juan Carlos WP Mapa Politico España 3.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter province-link settings. The province-links settings form lacks a CSRF check, so forged requests can overwrite configured province titles and hyperlinks under an administrator's session. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content, and the documented consequence is limited to unauthorized settings changes.
