Administrator-level stored XSS via insufficient sanitization and escaping
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Stored XSS in Exclusive Addons for Elementor 2.7.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts via crafted page content. Wordfence attributes the issue to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, but public sources do not identify the affected widget or function. Administrator access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; the script runs when a visitor opens the injected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
