Authenticated memory corruption via oversized submit-url
Published May 17, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A702R, A3002R, and A3002RU 3.0.0-B20230809.1615 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory. The /boafrm/formWsc HTTP POST handler accepts an oversized submit-url value and fails to keep processing within the destination buffer's bounds. Low-privilege router-management access is required; public records do not identify the precise buffer or copy routine.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
