Low-privilege code execution via unbounded submit-url copy
Published May 17, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A702R, A3002R, and A3002RU 3.0.0-B20230809.1615 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The /boafrm/formReflashClientTbl HTTP POST handler copies the untrusted submit-url value without checking its length, overflowing a memory buffer. Low-privilege access to the router management interface is required, and successful exploitation can compromise device confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
