Unauthenticated backup disclosure via predictable storage paths
Published May 21, 2025 · Updated May 21, 2025
Predictable resource location in TYPO3 Backup Plus 13.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to download backups and configuration files. The storage workflow places these artifacts under a predictable web-accessible hierarchy instead of requiring a protected target path. No account or interaction is required, but a backup must have been created in a publicly reachable storage directory for its contents to be exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
