Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked image upload
Published Aug 20, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in StoreKeeper for WooCommerce 14.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to place executable files on a site. The upload_product_image AJAX action accepts a public nonce, trusts a spoofed image MIME type, and stores a PHP filename under wp-content/uploads. No account or user interaction is required; code execution follows when the web server executes the uploaded PHP file.
