Unauthenticated admin-function access via missing capability check
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in EventON 2.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to invoke an administrative function without authentication. The affected admin function omits a WordPress capability check, but published sources do not identify the handler or unauthorized action. No account or user interaction is required; the CNA bounds the consequence to a limited service interruption and reports no data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
