Unauthenticated file enumeration via exposed directory indexes
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Directory listing exposure in SourceCodester Online Student Clearance System 1.0 allows remote attackers to enumerate server files. The deployed font-awesome and images directories accept unauthenticated HTTP requests and return directory indexes instead of denying access or serving only a fixed resource. No login is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of directory contents; broader database access or modification is not established.
