Conditional code execution via posttypes deserialization
Published May 21, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in Glossary by WPPedia 1.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through posttypes. The options-processing path passes the attacker-controlled posttypes parameter to PHP deserialization without rejecting serialized objects. Administrator access is required, and file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
