Stack process termination via inconsistent packet lengths

Denial of service in Yokogawa Vnet/IP Interface Package R1.07.00 and earlier allows remote attackers to terminate its stack process. The Vnet/IP software stack improperly handles inconsistent length parameters in crafted packets, causing its process to terminate. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and high-complexity packet construction, needs no authentication or user interaction, and interrupts Vnet/IP communications.
