CVE-2025-48019

Adjacent-network process crash via reachable assertion

Published Feb 13, 2026 · Updated Feb 13, 2026

Reachable assertion in Yokogawa Vnet/IP Interface Package R1.07.00 and earlier allows remote attackers to terminate its software stack process. Yokogawa has not disclosed which packet field reaches the assertion or the assertion condition that mishandles it. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent Vnet/IP network must send a crafted packet; the reported consequence is a process crash that interrupts Vnet/IP communication.
