XXE in DataSpider Servista 4.4 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read server files or interrupt service. Affected client applications pass attacker-controlled XML from tampered communications to a parser that permits external entity resolution. The gate is traffic interception and modification involving Studio for Web, CLI Console, ScriptRunner, ScriptRunnerProxy, or WebConsole; impact is limited to file disclosure or service interruption.
