Information disclosure via incomplete multi-table restrictions
Published May 20, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Incorrect authorization in TYPO3 CMS allows remote attackers to read restricted data through crafted multi-table DBAL queries. FrontendGroupRestriction is applied only to the last table in a multi-table query, leaving data selected from other tables outside the intended frontend-group filter. Exploitation requires a reachable query that joins multiple tables containing data the requester is not authorized to read, and the resulting impact is limited to disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
